Serger Heirloom
...............New ways to create heirloom with the serger. Use 2 thread flatlock, ladderstitch weaving, and rolled hem stitches.


Savvy Serger Vest............4 techniques are used to create a sampler type vest. Flatlock on the fold, ladder-stitch weaving, crazy patchwork piecing, and chainstitch. You have many stitch choices to select from to make your vest very unique.


Serger Round Robin.........Several sergers are set up to teach the many uses of the serger. A fast paced class that sells the features of a serger.


Chainstitch-Coverstitch
....Chainstitch and/or Coverstitch is used to embellish a vest front. Can also be done with a quilted effect. This uses a variety of decorative threads and teaches easy methods to tame the Chainstitch-Coverstitch.

Lindas Creative Vest....There are 2 views in this pattern. View A is a simple vest you create from sheer fabric. View A offers a great pallet for machine embroidery. You will finish the edges of this sheer vest with a bias binding.

View B is a handy "Serger Assistant Vest". Instructions are included for creating loops to hold your tools, & easy decorative pockets. You may select a bias finish for the outer edges or a decorative 4 Thread. Add sewing/serging related embroideries from your sewing machine to make this a personal work of art. Stitches used are Coverstitch, Chainstitch and 4 Thread Overedge.

Serger Magic With Batiks.........We use Linda's Creative Vest in this seminar as the pallet for your favorite decorative stitches. We divide the vest into 11 sectiions and stitch different stitches on each section. The sections are then joined together with a Ladder Stitch and silk ribbon is woven into the ladders. The edges of the vest are finished with a decorative 3 thread stitch.

Cover Me Up Serger Cover.....Create a beautiful yet practical cover for your serger as you learn how to use some of your accessories and feet.You will create pockets to hold your foot, manual and cord. The lower edge is finished with a bias tape. Elastic is stitched inside each pocket along the crease. Add sewing/serging related embroideries from your sewing machine to make this more personalized. Stitches used are Coverstitch, Chainstitch and 4 Thread Overedge.
