There will be a several Lesson Plans each year. I suggest you open an account and request an automatic send option when each Lesson Plan is ready.

Each Lesson Plan is copyrighted. There are instruction sheets in each Lesson Plan that I give you permission to reprint for the students. Please reprint only these pages to adhere to the copyright.

Attention Store Owners and Educators: I am offering a Serger Club Project several times a year, based on a technique found in the book. The focus of the first club is using the 3 Thread Stitch. As it is planned now, you should be able to cover the information as a demo in one hour. If you offer a hands-on approach it can be covered in 2-2 1/2 hours. I offer an outline for the teacher and a handout for students. The outline will aide the teacher in preparing for a Serger Club Lesson. A student handout is included for reprinting. The teacher will prepare the Serger Club Lesson using the teacher outline while each student uses a copy of her/his instructions. This offers the perfect place to jot down notes as the teacher demonstrates. Encourage students to purchase the book "Making Friends With Decorative Serging On The Pfaff 4872" and then create a Serger Club Notebook. I am working on the possiblilty of offering a notebook to help you organize this. I will let you know when this becomes available.

Serger Club Lesson #2 will be titled "Baby Month". I will give you many ideas and a lesson plan built around serging for babies. "Baby Month" is in honor of our new grandson Tyler. This "Serger Club" will offer ideas for any baby. I have been serging up a storm for little Tyler and want to share some of my ideas with you. Students will be able to use this material for their own children, grandchildren or as shower gifts.
